Service 13 / Product

Web & mobile application engineering

Build the product people actually use, from a browser-based workflow to a mobile application. Connect useful interfaces with dependable data, permissions and a release plan.

Problems worth solving

A complete service people can use, with the data, permissions and operating plan behind it.

01

A workflow trapped in documents

Connect the applicant, reviewer and administrator journeys with clear information requirements and authorised actions.

02

A product that breaks between screens

Define shared state, data ownership and integration boundaries so a complete task matters more than isolated interface polish.

03

A release without an operating owner

Agree device coverage, failure scenarios, deployment, recovery and support responsibilities before accepting the build.

Delivery sequence

Gather. Shape. Build. Refine.

  1. 01

    Gather

Map users, roles, devices, connectivity and the existing systems.

  2. 02

    Shape

Prototype critical journeys; agree data contracts, permissions and the first release.

  3. 03

    Build

Implement reviewable increments with functional, access and integration checks.

  4. 04

    Refine

Test complete tasks and failure states; record acceptance, release and handover.

What we can deliver

  • 01User journeys, prototypes and a reusable interface system
  • 02Web applications and scoped mobile application delivery
  • 03APIs, identity, permissions and transactional workflows
  • 04Device testing, release preparation and operational handover

Acceptance, QA & handover

A useful starting point

Bring the context.

  • The user tasks, devices and connectivity conditions
  • Existing systems, source ownership and authorised API documentation
  • A prioritised release scope and data-handling requirements

Acceptance & handover

Agree what good means.

  • Complete critical journeys on agreed browsers and devices
  • Permissions, duplicate actions and interrupted network behaviour
  • Release, rollback and maintainable source handover

HandoverSource ownership, interface documentation, device test evidence and release procedures.

From requirements to operation

A complete commission, not an isolated build.

01 / Gather & shape

Establish the foundations.

The user tasks, devices and connectivity conditions. Existing systems, source ownership and authorised API documentation. A prioritised release scope and data-handling requirements.

Strategy & discovery ↗
02 / Build & review

Make progress inspectable.

Implement the agreed scope in reviewable increments. Check user journeys, integration boundaries and failure conditions against the requirements, with unresolved decisions kept visible.

Review the delivery stages ↗
03 / Accept & hand over

Define what is ready.

Complete critical journeys on agreed browsers and devices. Permissions, duplicate actions and interrupted network behaviour. Release, rollback and maintainable source handover.

Source ownership, interface documentation, device test evidence and release procedures.

Evidence and scope are different.

The related portal demonstrates a browser-based preparation journey. It is not evidence of a native mobile application deployment. Device platforms, integrations and distribution are agreed for your commission.

Before commissioning

The questions worth asking.

Discuss your requirements ↗
How do you protect existing records during change?

We establish the authoritative sources, mapping rules and access boundaries first. Migration and integration scope includes reconciliation, error handling and recovery responsibilities; production writes and cutover require an agreed review.

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes, where access and integration are authorised. We first establish ownership, documentation, dependencies and the boundaries of any replacement or connection. A commission does not require abandoning a system that already works.

How do we agree the first release?

We prioritise complete user tasks rather than an arbitrary feature count. Scope, exclusions, dependencies and acceptance scenarios are agreed before implementation, with review points for changes.

How are security and personal data handled?

We identify data owners, information categories and permitted actions during discovery. Controls, retention, specialist assurance and any data-processing responsibilities are scoped against the actual service. A studio credential does not certify your future system.

What happens after handover?

Documentation, access ownership, training and operating responsibilities are agreed before release. Maintenance, incident coverage and further development have an explicit scope; they are not assumed to be unlimited.
